1. About us

This website, gouem-method.com, is operated by GOUEM CARE LTD, trading as GOUEM METHOD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16771795, with its address at 49 Station Road, Polegate, East Sussex, BN26 6EA, United Kingdom. These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our products

We sell skincare and haircare products for personal, cosmetic use. Product images are for illustration; packaging may vary slightly. Before using any product, please read its description, ingredients and directions, and carry out a patch test if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Stop using a product if irritation occurs. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. A contract between you and us is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the addresses and destinations offered at checkout. Delivery options, costs and estimated times are set out on our Shipping Policy. Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, taxes or fees charged by the destination country, which are your responsibility.

6. Cancellations and returns

Your rights to cancel an order, return items and receive a refund, including for damaged, faulty or incorrect items, are set out in our Refund Policy. For hygiene reasons, sealed skincare products cannot be returned for a change of mind once their seal has been opened or removed. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty.

7. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We supply products for domestic and private use only. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Website use and content

All content on this website, including text, images and branding, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission. We aim to keep information on our website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.

9. Reviews and comments

If you submit a review or comment, it must be your own honest opinion of a product you have used and must not be unlawful, offensive or misleading. We may remove content that does not meet these standards.

10. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

12. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please email hello@gouem-method.com and we will do our best to resolve it.
